The Gabon international is Arsene Wenger’s top January target and the Gunners are locked in talks with the German giants in order to push the transfer over the line.
Arsenal had already offered £45million for his services, but Dortmund are holding out for closer to £60m.

The Bundesliga outfit are also keen to find a replacement for the 28-year-old, and are willing to accept Olivier Giroud as part of the deal.
Arsenal face a race against time to get the deal done with Dortmund, but Aubameyang has already agreed to the move, and will earn £200,000-a-week at the Emirates, according to the Mirror.
Wenger is open to Giroud joining Dortmund and the striker is keen to play more first-team football ahead of the World Cup in Russia, but the two clubs still need to agree on a fee.
Dortmund are tempted to delay the deal until the summer, though Arsenal are determined to push it through before the transfer window slams shut.
