Former Senate Leader and Chairman, Senate Committee on Army, Senator Ali Ndume, All Progressives Congress, APC, Borno South, Tuesday raised the alarm that Nigeria as a country was in a war situation following the continued cases of armed banditry and insurgency.
 
Ndume lamented that budgeting less than one percent  of the 10.33 trillion 2020 Budget set aside for Defence was not reasonable and re relatively too Small to address the security challenges in the country.
