    Russians to cheer Eagles because of Mikel

    The Super Eagles may have found a good reason to go far in the Russia 2018 World Cup as Russians have vowed to back the team all the way.     Many of the Russian nationals who spoke to Sports Vanguard on the streets of Moscow and Voronezh cities are excited that the Super Eagles captain, Mikel Obi is married to a Russian.
    According to them, Mikel’s choice has linked Nigeria to Russia and any team playing against Nigeria in the World Cup would have to contend with two powerful sets of crowd rolled into one.
