Chelsea: Mikel Obi congratulates Hazard on 200th league appearance for the club

Edin Hazard made his 200th league appearance for Chelsea against Crystal Palace. Former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has congratulated Eden Hazard for making his 200th appearance for the London-based side.Mikel and Hazard were teammates at Stamford Bridge from when the Belgian joined in 2012 to the departure of the Nigerian in 2017.Hazard made his 200th Premier League appearance for the current English Champions in their 2 -1 over Crystal Palace on Saturday, March 10. The Super Eagles captain posted a message to congratulate Hazard on his official Instagram account which said, “Congratulations to @hazardeden_10 on joining me in the @ChelseaFC 200 club 200 @premierleague appearances, well deserved.”Mikel made 249 appearances for Chelsea in the Premier League, and a combined total of 368 appearances in all competitions.Hazard has now joined Mikel and other greats who have made 200 and above league appearances for Chelsea. Chelsea will be hoping Hazard stays on to get more appearances as there have been fears that he is set to join La Liga giants Real Madrid. According to reports Chelsea are doing everything they can to convince the forward to remain at the club.
