Ahmed Musa: Super Eagles forward features in CSKA Moscow’s Europa League draw

Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa played all ninety minutes for CSKA Moscow in their Europa League draw Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa featured in his first competitive match since he rejoined Russian side CSKA Moscow.Musa was in action for CSKA in their UEFA Europa League round of 32 fixture against Red Star Belgrade of Serbia.Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr wanted Musa to leave Leicester City to get more game time, he has been enjoying more minutes on the field since his return to CSKA.Musa has been in good goal scoring form since he returned to CSKA on loan from Leicester City, as he has scored in previous preparatory matches leading to the encounter. He was named among the starting eleven for CSKA in the clash, but was unable to find the back of the net as the game ended in a scoreless draw. CSKA and Red star Belgrade failed to convert any of the few chances created, and Musa had a opportunity to put the visitors ahead in the 68 minute. CSKA Moscow host Red Star Belgrade in the second leg, on Wednesday, 21 February, with the winners progressing to the round of 16 of the Europa League.
