Ogunbote: Rangers Will Be Ready For New Season Before January 14

By Adeboye Amosu: Enugu Rangers head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, says his team is gradually taking shape ahead of the 2017/2018 Nigeria Professional Football League season, Completesportsnigeria. com reports.
Ogunbote took charge of the Flying Antelopes in October after the club failed to extend the contract of interim coach Sylvanus Okpala at the end of last season.
The seven-time NPFL champions won the title two seasons ago but faltered last term finishing in 14th position.
The Enugu club have played series of friendly games to prepare for the new campaign and Ogunbote who led Enyimba to a third place finish in the NPFL last season is confident they will get things soon.
“We are not there yet, but I can say the team is taking shape ahead of the new season,” the former Sunshine Stars gaffer revealed to Completesportsnigeria.com.
“The friendly matches have afforded me the opportunity to see the strengths and weaknesses of the team and it is important we get things right before January 14.
