The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has rejected a Federal High Court Judgment on the disputed Anambra Central Senatorial re-run.
IPAC comprises of twenty-one registered political parties in the state with chairmen heading the various parties.
They described the claim of having accepted the court verdict as being frivolous and totally in bad taste.
Justice John Tsoho of the Abuja High Court had declared Mr. Obiora Okonkwo winner of the election.
He ruled that ruled that Okonkwo was the validly nominated candidate of the party in the 2015 general election and should be sworn in as the senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial district immediately.
But addressing journalists in Awka, the state capital, the political parties’ chairmen accused their state Chairman of creating confusion.
They, however, insisted that they hadn’t met; neither had a meeting being after the verdict of the court in that respect.
