Ernest Bai KoromaPresident of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma, has unveiled his successor and Flag bearer of the ruling All Peoples Congress (APC), Matthew Samura Kamara, to the Nigerian community.
He said the unveiling was due to Nigeria’s involvement in the economy and private sector in Sierra Leone.
Koroma an interactive session with the Nigerian Community at the weekend in Abuja expressed his gratitude to Nigeria for supporting his administration, adding that Nigeria was an important part of Sierra Leone as it supported the country over the years.
He said he visited Nigeria to bid the country farewell as President following the expiration of his second tenure on March 7, 2018.
While introducing Kamara he said: “After dissolving the Parliament on December 7, 2017, I immediately started a road show in the country to thank the people of Sierra Leone for giving me the opportunity to serve as president and to also introduce my successor and I say it in definite terms.
