The Producers’ Forum of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria(PENGASSAN) has said it is working in partnership with the Federal Government to urgently address fuel scarcity in some parts of the country.
Chairman, PENGASSAN Producers Forum, Festus Osifoh, who disclosed this yesterday in Benin city while briefing journalists,during the forum’s two days national retreat in Benin city, Edo State with its theme “Strategic and Information Based Leadership; Panacea for Effective Unionism, said they are not threatened by federal government proposed move to give linceses to modular refineries operators to operate in the country.
Osifoh said when citizens are allowed to own and operate their private refineries, it would create more job opportunities for Nigerians.
“We cannot be threatened if the federal government give licenses to private individuals to operate modular refineries because it will create more jobs in the oil and gas industries.
