By James Agberebi: Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi was on from the start as Arsenal found it difficult to break down a well organised West Ham side as they were held to a 0-0 draw in their Premier League clash at the London Stadium on Wednesday.
Iwobi, who later went off for Danny Welbeck on 71 minutes, had one of Arsenal’s rare opportunities but was unlucky to see his effort cannon off the frame of the goal on 31 minutes.
The 0-0 draw against West Ham means Arsenal have now gone three straight league games without a win and are now seventh on 30 points in the league table.
At Old Trafford, Manchester United put behind them the disappointment of losing to Manchester City at the weekend by edging Bournemouth 1-0.
Romelu Lukaku, who has been under serious criticism of late, was the hero for United as his 25th minute goal, off a Juan Mata cross, was enough to secure the three points for the Red Devils.
The goal saw Lukaku return to scoring form in the league after firing blanks in his last four games.
