    Super Eagles: Nigeria to face Poland in March 2018 in World Cup warm-up

    The Polish FA have confirmed the friendly for Friday, March 23, 2018. The Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on Poland in March 2018 as part of their preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. With the Super Eagles drawn in Group D of the World Cup along with Argentina, Croatia and Iceland, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have started drawing up specific friendly targets to prepare the team for its group opponents. The NFF and their Polish counterparts have also met concerning a friendly game which the central European country will use to prepare for their own Group H opponents Senegal. Poland open their Russia 2018 campaign against the Lions of Teranga in Moscow on June 19.
