The governor lamented that most people just don’t understand the importance of the department. Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha, has advised the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) to create a Department for Happiness and Purpose Fulfilment to cater to the well-being of servicemen and women.Last week, the governor’s decision to name his sister, Ogechi Ololo, as the Commissioner for the Ministry of Happiness and Purpose Fulfilment was heavily criticised by Nigerians on social media.However, during a visit by Air Force personnel, led by the Air Officer Commanding Ground Training Command, Sampson Akpasa, in Owerri, the governor said that most people just don’t understand the importance of the department.According to him, the department would help the Air Force deal with agitations and address officers’ dissatisfaction in the discharge of their duties.He said, “Agitation comes up when people are not happy, and the whole essence of life is to be happy.
