Adesina said before heading for the Summit venue, the Buhari would attend a lunch for Heads of State, hosted by the French President, Emmanuel Macron. President Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday, December 11, 2017, depart Nigeria for Paris, France, to participate in the One Plannet Summit organised by the United Nations, the World Bank Group, and the French Government.The Summit, which would be attended by over 50 world leaders, is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, December 12,at the eco-friendly La Seine Musicale, situated on the picturesque Seguin Island in western Paris.The President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, disclosed this on Sunday, December 10, in a statement issued in Abuja.Quoting the organizers of the event, he said the main focus of the summit, with the theme, “Climate Change Financing”, would be to innovatively pool public and private finance “to support and accelerate our common efforts to fight climate change.
