    Victor Moses: Super Eagles star makes CAF 11-man shortlist for player of the Year, Troost-Ekong out

    Moses had an impressive year for Chelsea and the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Super Eagles star Victor Moses has made the Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) 11-man shortlist for the 2017 African Footballer of the Year.CAF have cut down a 30-man list released earlier in November, reducing it to 11 with Moses making the cut. Another Super Eagles star William Troost-Ekong did not make the cut-down list. The winner of the awards will be announced at the Awards Gala which will hold on Thursday, January 4 in Accra, Ghana. Algeria’s Riyad Mahrez is the holder of the award which he won after winning the 2016 Premier League title with Leicester City. He however did not make the nominees this year.
