It has been wildly reported that the NFF have appointed American coach, Randy Waldrum for Super Falcons. Amaju Pinnick, president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that a new foreign coach will be appointed for the Super Falcons of Nigeria. The Super Falcons have been without a coach since the expiration of Florence Omagbemi’s contract with the NFF.It has been wildly reported that the NFF have appointed American coach, Randy Waldrum to replace Omagbemi. Although Pinnick did not mention his name, the NFF president at an event in Lagos on Monday, November 27 confirmed that a foreign coach will be appointed for the Super Falcons. The Super Falcons have not been together for almost a year since they won the 2016 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) in November 2016. Super Falcons players have come out to criticise the NFF for their lack of support and snub for Nigeria’s senior national women’s team.
