Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar has left the All Progressives Congress (APC).Atiku disclosed this in a letter personally signed by him on Friday, November 24, 2017.The former vice president gave the following reasons for this decision.1.Buhari isolated himself from the party Atiku accused President Muhammadu Buhari of isolating himself from the national working committee and other leaders of the APC.With particular reference to Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s leaked memo, Atiku said President Buhari had not done anything to resolve the issue.His words: “Only last year, a governor produced by the party wrote a secret memorandum to the president which ended up being leaked. In that memo, he admitted that the All Progressives Congress had “not only failed to manage expectations of a populace that expected overnight ‘change’ but has failed to deliver even mundane matters of governance”.
