Japanese stocks sank three per cent Tuesday on the back of global concerns about the valuation of tech stocks and as a spat with China escalates.
The Nikkei 225 dropped 2.98 per cent to 48,825.24 points in afternoon trade, having fallen as much as 3.3 per cent.
