    INEC presents 2019 election budget to Reps election committee

    The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is currently in a meeting with the House of Representatives Committee on Electoral Matters and Political Parties Matters.
    The meeting is for the presentation of the INEC 2019 general elections budget by the commission to the committee.
    “Happening Now…..INEC 2019 General Elections Budget Presentation by Chairman INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu and members of the Commission before the House Committee on Electoral and Political Parties Matters,” INEC tweeted.
    Recall that, the Senate president Bukola Saraki and Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara on Tuesday said they refused to reconvene the National Assembly because the joint committee on electoral matters has not met with officials of INEC.
