    Kastina flood: 2, 000 benefit from Air Force medical treatment

    The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) said yesterday that no fewer than 2,000 flood victims in Katsina State have benefitted from a medical outreach programme designed by the NAF to mitigate their plights.
    According to the NAF spokespersons, Air Vice Marshal Olatokunbo Adesanya, the outreach programme was initiated by the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar in response to the recent flood disaster which rendered thousands of people homeless in the state.
    In a statement issued from  NAF Headquarters in Abuja, he said  the three-day programme covered medical check ups, mass de-worming of children, distribution of treated mosquito nets, eye glasses and drugs to the victims.
