The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the Ekiti Governorship election, Mr Olusola Eleka, has finally cast his vote after a card reader malfunction had caused a delay earlier.
The card reader had failed to recognize Eleka’s card as he tried to vote at Polling Unit 007, Ofomofuru Hall, Ward 2, Okokuru in Ikere-Ekiti on Satiurday.
However, with the intervention of the National Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Anthonia Simbini, Eleka, was accredited and allowed to vote.
He said INEC identified the need for his PVC to be withdrawn and replaced later.
The candidate expressed satisfaction with the alternative.
