Rivers: We must rise above bitterness, division – Fubara

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has urged the people of the state to rise above bitterness and division, and to channel their energies into rebuilding trust, fostering inclusiveness, and securing a peaceful and prosperous state for all.

Fubara made this appeal on Friday during his statewide broadcast in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

The governor also charged the people of the state to draw strength from their shared identity as Rivers people.

“Our diversity is our greatest asset, and our unity the strongest guarantee of our future. Above all, let us draw strength from our shared identity as Rivers people.

“We must rise above bitterness and division and channel our energies into rebuilding trust, fostering inclusiveness, and securing a peaceful and prosperous State for all,” he stated.
