Crawford University, Ogun State, has appealed to the 324 graduates of the institution to be focused so as to impact Nigeria positively.
Speaking at the 14th convocation of the school, Proprietor and Chancellor, Dr Isaac Adigun, explained that the noble virtues inculcated into the graduates would help them navigate life easily.
He said, ‘‘I must say that we have tried inculcating in you godly and noble virtues. We have confidence that you will not forget in a jiffy what you have been taught these past four years.
‘‘I, therefore, urge you to stay focused in life, while you put to use all that you have been taught in this University both spiritually, morally, and academically. It will surely help you to run the race of life successfully; so that you can live more fulfilling lives and be a blessing to your parents, your families, your community, the nation, and succeeding generations. My charge to you is that you should, please take the Name of the Lord Jesus with you wherever you go.
Chairman, Board of Trustees of Crawford University, Mr James Olaleye, implored all parents, stakeholders, and friends of the University to help sustain the godly culture the university stood for.
The Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Reuben Kolo, congratulated the recipients of the Chancellorship, honorary degrees, First Class degrees, higher degrees, and award of prizes.
‘‘As you step out from this University, I want to remind you that you have been made academically, character-wise, and spiritually. It is now in your hands to bring out your worth as a strong and determined Unicorn.
Meanwhile, Prof. Emeritus Peter Okebukola, and the Dr Tunde Lemo, were awarded honorary degrees at the convocation.
