LagosCentral Senatorial candidate on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Adesunbo Onitiri, has called for immediate cancellation of tolls collection on Lekki-Epe Express Road in the overall interest of motorists and commuters.
He also wants reduction of taxes and levies being imposed on Lagos residents by the state and local governments.
Onitiri in a statement yesterday said: “By now, the Lagos State government and its contractor-partner should have collected in full, money used to build the tollgate, renovate and expand the expressway, bearing in mind that the Jakande administration initially constructed the road during the Second Republic.
