Governor Yahaya Bello has described the gale of defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) as an “auto-correct” system.Governor Bello says he defection of APC members to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would not affect President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory at the 2019 Presidential election.In a statement by his spokesman, Kingsley Fanwo, on Thursday, August 2, 2018, Bello said the ruling party was getting rid of the “bad eggs” within its rank.The Governor maintained that the party would remain stronger in the aftermath of the “sieving process”. “President Muhammadu Buhari is a man of honor, respected home and abroad; a leader who has gone beyond the possibility of compromising the ideals that have won him respect globally,” Bello said. “The All Progressives Congress is built on the solid foundation of progressive change and protection of the interests of the poor in the society.
