The is still no resolution to the dispute between Amaju Pinnick and Chris Giwa as the court postpones again. The leadership tussle of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) between Amaju Pinnick and Chris Giwa has been postponed by a Federal High Court in Jos till Tuesday, September 25.The NFF presidency has been the bone of contention between Pinnick and Giwa which has led to power changing hands on several occasions.Pinnick has however been restored to the leadership of the football body by President Muhammadu Buhari but the case is still in court. Initially, the hearing was set to hold on Monday, July 23 but had to rescheduled due to the absence of the judge.The hearing on Wednesday, August 1, however, did not provide any conclusions on the issues from a legal perspective as the case was again postponed till September 25.Pinnick and Giwa have been at each other for the NFF boss since the elections held in Warri on September 30, 2014.Giwa has resisted the reign of Pinnick since his induction, a war which has seen his case thrown out from the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) and also received a worldwide ban from FIFA and also his club Giwa was eventually thrown out of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) for forfeiting matches. At the hearing, Festus Keyamo revealed that his client is the recognized head of the NFF as approved by FIFA President Gianni Infantino.Habila Ardzard and Shangyula who are the counsel to Giwa stated that they have not received any sort of detail from the World governing body.Justice Musa Kurya stated that the representatives of Pinnick serve Giwa the motion so as to enable him to defend his case.
