The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), the factional Reformed All Progressives Congress (R-APC) and dozen other political parties have officially commissioned the secretariat of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) in Abuja.On July 9, 2018, dozens of political parties had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to oust the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 presidential election.The coalition finally opened its secretariat at 13, Thaba Tseka Street, Wuse II, Abuja, on Thursday, August 2, 2018.PDP national chairman, Uche Secondus, and R-APC chairman, Buba Galadima, were two of the most prominent actors at the official opening.
