‘How Omo Butty inspired my acting career’

Pp and coming Nollywood actor, Olushola Michaels, has described his love for the Nigerian movie industry as second to none. Ready to storm the industry with his creative ideas, the Ogun State born actor recalled how he fell in love with the movie industry.
According to Michaels, he ascribed it to meeting sultry actress, Abiodun Sofuyi, better known as Omo Butty, during a business trip.
Michaels, who is into visa processing, ticketing and luxury holidays bookings, requested to pay the actress a visit whenever she is filming which was obliged.
“On getting to the production set, I fell in love completely with the art and decided to take a shot at it,” he recalls.
On whether he will be dropping his personal business for acting fully, Olushola noted that his business will continue to run while he pursues his love for acting. This, he said, is the reason why he enrolled at the Seriki Olopolo Movie Academy owned by prolific filmmaker, Afeez Owoh.
Olushola further stated that he looks forward to working with filmmakers like Desmond Elliot, Kunle Afolayan, Abbey Lanre, Kunle Afod, Ramsey Noah to mention but few while he appreciates the works of Sola Sobowale, Rita Dominic, RMD, Kate Henshaw, Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo), Mercy Johnson, Biodun Okeowo and Peggy Ovire as mentors.
