Awoniyi Returns For Belgian Club After One-Match Suspension

Royal Excel Mouscron of Belgium’s Nigerian striker, Taiwo Awoniyi will return to the squad after serving a one match ban reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Awoniyi was sent off in the 74 minute of Royal Excel Mouscron’s 2-1 loss to KRS Lokeren for elbowing an opponent but after an appeal to the Belgian Football Association, his ban was reduced to a game, the Liverpool loanee revealed to Completesportsnigeria.com.
The 20 year old has scored seven goals and has made five assist in 27 league games for Royal Excel Mouscron in the Belgian Juliper League this season.
Awoniyi was part of the 2013 Golden Eaglets team that lifted the U-17 World Cup for Nigeria and was snapped up by English Premier League side Liverpool who subsequently frmed him out on loan to Bundesliga team FSV Frankfurt and then Eredivisie Side NEC Nijmegen and now Mouscron
