Poland defender Bartosz Bereszynski is doubtful for Friday’s friendly match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria due to an abdominal problem, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Bereszynski who plays for Italian club Sampdoria, according to Polish online news outlet przegladsportowy.pl, has problems with his lateral abdominal muscle and was exempted from training with his teammates on Tuesday.
He however joined the group during Wednesday’s session but was later separated from his teammates and didn’t practice with the ball.
Instead, he was involved in a session with the trainer Remigiusz Rzepka, with both of them running around the pitch.
The 25-year-old now has little time to prove his fitness and may not be considered for selection by coach Adam Nawalka for the game on Friday.
The former Legia Warsaw right-back has been capped six times by his country.
Friday’s game will kick off at 8.45pm Nigerian time at the Municipal Stadium, Wraclow.
