The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ahmed Tinubu, is currently in a meeting with the National Working Committee of the party at the National Secretariat, in Abuja.
The committee is led by the national chairman of the party, John Odigie-Oyegun.
Tinubu who was recently appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari to lead the reconciliation process of members of the party said at the meeting on Wednesday that the change Nigerians seek cannot be served like instant coffee, it has to be gradual.
The APC Chieftain said his mission is to seek opinions and advice on the various conflicts within the party both at state or national level, to reconcile and move the party in a cohesive manner, and reposition if any.
Odigie-Oyegun in his welcome address to Tinubu and his entourage said it was necessary for the APC to put its house in order in preparation for 2019 elections.
Reporters were later asked to leave the hall for the party leaders to continue the meeting behind closed doors.
