By Johnny Edward: Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi will return to training this week after recovering fully from a knee knock that saw him miss Trabzonspor’s 0-0 draw away at Genclerbirligi on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Onazi has not featured for Trabzonspor in their last three games.
The 25-year-old was an unused substitute for Trabzonspor in the games against Fenerbahce and Goztepe before being granted a special leave prior to the Genclerbirligi draw.
“I had a slight knock on my knee but I will resume training this week with the team,”Onazi told CSN.
“I need to be fully fit before returning.”
Onazi has made 13 league appearances for Trabzonspor so far this term.
The Super Eagles star was also delighted with the new World Cup kits launched in London last week.
“They are nice,” he said.
