    Cape Town City terminate contract of former Super Eagles striker

    Nsofor was deemed surplus to requirements at South African club Cape Town City South African club-side Cape Town City have terminated the contract of former Super Eagles striker Obinna Nsofor.Obinna joined former teammate Benni McCarthy who is now coach of the Cape Town based side on a one year contract.Nsofor has found it difficult to recreate his best form in the South African League, and even though he was five months into his contract, the club has decided that they do not need his services.Nsofor will now have to attach to another club-side if he still harbours the dream of going to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia with the Super Eagles. Obinna has a wealth of Experience as he has played for several club sides which include, Chievo, Internazionale, Málaga, West Ham United, Lokomotiv Moscow, Chievo , MSV Duisburg, SV Darmstadt and Cape Town City.The 30-year-old has made a total of 48 appearances for the Super Eagles and contributed 12 goals.
