Tunisian club Sfaxien Sports Club have announced the singing of Nigeria striker Kingsley Eduwo on a three-and-half year contract, reports Completesportsnigeria (CSN).
CS Sfaxien announced the arrival of forward on their official website on Sunday.
Eduwo joined the club from Nigeria Professional Football League club Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi.
The former Sunshine Stars player linked up with another Nigerian, Kingsley Sokari, at the club.
The 22-year-old who scored 13 goals for Lobi Stars in the NPFL last season will be hoping to replicate the achievement of his childhood friend Junior Ajayi who was a cult hero at CS Sfaxien before his big money to Egyptian giants Al Ahly in 2016.
The forward played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s qualification for the African Nations Championship in Morocco, scoring in the decisive second leg 2-0 victory against neighbours Benin Republic but was surprisingly left out of the final squad for the competition, apparently because of the impending move.
