The country that took the lion share of these calls was Somalia. This country made the most calls per person in 2017, with the average person making about 19 calls while receiving 14, daily. The SMS king though, is Tanzania. The average user sends 10 SMSes per day and receives 16 per day.The Spam count shot up this year.They was a spike in the amount of spam calls this year, all over the world. Over 40 million unique spam numbers were detected this year by Truecaller.
