The Commissioner of Police, Mr Dibal Yakadi, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) in Minna on Tuesday. The Police Command in Niger says it has mapped out strategies to secure lives and property before and during the forthcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations.The Commissioner of Police, Mr Dibal Yakadi, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) in Minna on Tuesday.Dibal said the command had tightened security at entry and exit points of the state to deal with any form of security threats.“ We have deployed plain cloth operatives to churches, motor parks, recreation centres and Amusement parks as part of the security build-up,” he said.He said police patrols had been intensified in and outside the metropolis,adding that police personnel had been stationed at strategic locations as part of the measures.The commissioner assured residents of the state that the security measures put in place would guarantee peace during the celebrations.
