Asisat Oshoala: Super Falcons star makes final 3 for 2017 African Women Player of the Year award

The 23-year-old had an impressive year in her debut season in China with Dalian Quanjian. Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala has made the final three nominees for the 2017 African Women’s Player of the Year award.Oshoala was initially included in the four-woman list of nominees before the Confederation of African Football (CAF) cut it down to the final three on Monday, December 18. The Nigeria international makes the three nominations alongside Chrestina Kgatlana (South Africa and UWC Ladies) and Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene (Cameroon and CSKA Moscow). The winner of the award will be announced at the Awards Gala which will hold on Thursday, January 4 in Accra, Ghana.The 23-year-old had an impressive year in her debut season in China with Dalian Quanjian.ALSO READ: Asisat Oshoala wins Super Cup title in ChinaDebut season in ChinaThe Nigeria international who is the current holder of the award scored 12 goals for Dalian Quanjian in the Chinese Women’s Super League.
