    Ishaku raises alarm: There are plans to attack Taraba

    Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State has alerted Nigerians of clandestine plans to thwart the peace efforts in the state by some undesirable elements, stressing that his administration will leave no stone unturned to foil the evil plots.
    Ishaku made the disclosure yesterday, while presiding over the ongoing cultural carnival at Jolly Nyame Stadium located along Mile six road, in Jalingo metropolis.
    He declared that the strength of the people lies in their unity of purpose and determination to live together as a people despite their differences and to tolerate one another.
    While urging Taraba people to be vigilant and security conscious, the governor added: “I am aware of plans to attack the state imminently by certain elements in the country. We are working with the security agencies to forestall this from happening and I can assure you that these plans would fail.
