    Plateau, MFM Face Tough First Round Hurdles In CAFCL; Enyimba, Akwa Know CAFCC Foes

    By Adeboye Amosu: Nigeria Professional Football League champions Plateau United will face Cameroonian club Eding Sport in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
    The first leg will take place at the Rwang Pam Stadium in February, while Eding Sport will have the advantage of hosting the return fixture at home a fortnight later.
    Should they surmount the hurdle, Plateau United who are making their debut in the competition, will be up against former champions Etoile Sportive du Sahel of Tunisia in the first round.
    Nigeria’s other representative in the competition, MFM who will equally be making their debut appearance, will face the second-placed team in the Malian League in the preliminary stage.
    The Olukoya Boys will travel away first and host the second leg at the Agege Stadium, Lagos.
    The Lagos side will play the winner of MC Alger and AS Otoho of Congo in the first round.
