The corps members spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) at Amada temporary orientation camp in Akko, Gombe State on Monday. The 2017 Batch ‘B’ Stream I of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members posted to Gombe State have lauded the initiative of the Federal Government on Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme.The corps members spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) at Amada temporary orientation camp in Akko, Gombe State on Monday.Miss Obarakpor Owhobitayeh, who was attached to the leather-making class, said that she had learnt how to make different types of shoes and bags during the orientation course.According to her, before joining the NYSC, “I did not know how to do such products, but now I can be on my own with fund and train many people on how to make shoes and bags.“With the training of SAED, most of us can be self reliant. With this, we have to thank the NYSC management and the Federal Government for giving us the opportunity to learn how to make different things.
