Photo: cnbcafricaAs part of efforts to raise the standard of education in the country and ensure access to qualitative tools and materials for knowledge gain, the Rose of Sharon Foundation has donated a building to Yaba College of Education, Lagos to serve as a skill acquisition centre and bookshop.
Speaking at the unveiling of the centre in Lagos, its Founder, Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, stressed the need to improve the quality of education in the country, noting that all hands must be on deck to ensure the country achieves this objective.
Alakija, who said God called her to make a difference in the lives of people, especially widows and orphans, expressed the hope that the centre would be of immerse benefit to the students, while encouraging those supportive of the college to explore other areas of intervention.
