Southampton fought back to hold Bournemouth to a 1-1 draw at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Goals from Ryan Fraser for Bournemouth and Southampton’s Charlie Austin in either half saw both teams earn a point apiece.
Bournemouth shot into the lead three minutes before half-time through Fraser who slotted under Fraser Forster after Joshua King won possession back.
But in the 61st minute Austin drew Southampton level as he tapped in Nathan Redmond’s cutback to earn his side a share of the spoils.
The draw means Southampton have won just one of their last five league games (three losses, one draw).
Bournemouth have drawn two of their last six league games with two wins and two defeats.
Southampton are now 11th on 17 points and Bournemouth occupy the 14th spot on 15 points in the league table.
