FIFA President, Infantino: I Will Watch Russia 2018 Draw As Football Fan

By Kayode Ogundare in Moscow: FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, was already filled with sheer excitement Friday morning here in Moscow, just hours to the 2018 World Cup Draw, reiterating that he will enjoy the big occasion as a football fan, Completesportsnigeria.com report’s.
Infantino, a former UEFA General Secretary, was elected as FIFA President on February 26 2016. And he is now in the threshold of bagging his first World Cup finals as president of the world football governing body.
“I will watch the draw as a football fan but also as FIFA President. It’s an emotional moment for me,” an excited Infantino told a World Press Conference in Moscow on Friday, with Completesportsnigeria.com in attendance.
“There are more than 200 countries watching this event. Everyone is starting to talk about the World Cup, who will play whom, who will be the surprise teams? This discussion will guide us from now until next year.
“From what I’ve seen I am convinced that Russia 2018 will be the best World Cup ever.
