Fans are already trying to get the attention of the NFF and Nike to adopt the design. London-based Nigerian writer and designer, Andrew Sanda has caught many eyes by unveiling his concept design of the Super Eagles’ uniform for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.Randa unveiled the design via his Twitter account. The sportswriter who works with SA multi-national, Supersport, had earlier made some concept designs. After taking on suggestions from his followers, he created the design which is starting a frenzy on social media.The design comes in two versions. One, which is the home jersey features the image of an Eagle’s head, the logo of the Nigerian national team, emblazoned in front of the shirt. The jersey also borrows from the geometric design which fans will remember from the Eagles’ jersey to the 1994 World Cup. The jersey number rests above the image of the Eagle. The shorts and socks are green.In what may be the away version of the jersey, the shirt, shorts and socks are white with green borders.
