    Super Eagles: NFF boss Pinnick targets 5 friendly games ahead of 2018 World Cup

    The NFF are targeting countries above Nigeria in the FIFA Ranking for friendly games. President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick is targeting five friendly games for the Super Eagles ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The Super Eagles of Nigeria are one of the countries participating in the 2018 World Cup which will hold in Russia. Preparations have already kicked off for Russia 2018 as the Super Eagles faced Argentina in a friendly game during the last international break.  According to Pinnick, the NFF will ensure that the Super Eagles will have five friendly games against top oppositions to prepare them for the 2018 World Cup. “We are looking at minimum of playing five top class friendlies before the World Cup proper,” Pinick told Sportsmax on Cool FM Abuja. “We are looking at countries that are above us in the ranking and countries that are in the top 10 of world football ranking and countries that are in the World Cup as well.
