Late warlord’s son, Emeka Ojukwu, says joining the APC is exactly what his father would have wanted. Emeka Ojukwu jnr, son of late Biafra warlord, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, has disclosed that his decision to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) was a carefully thought out one. Ojukwu says he is pitching tent with Nigeria’s governing party because he wants the South East to occupy its rightful place in the scheme of things on a national scale; and take part in the political decision making process of the country.Ojukwu jnr made his position known during an APC reception organised in his honour by the party’s national leadership led by national chairman, H.E. Chief John Odigie-Oyegun at the party’s secretariat in Abuja. Odigie-Oyegun was accompanied by the party’s Deputy National Chairman (South), Engr. Segun Oni; National Vice Chairman (South-East), Hon. Emma Eneukwu; National Auditor, Chief (Dr.) George Moghalu and Chief of Staff to the APC National Chairman, Mr. Edwin Ikhinmwin.
