    Anambra Election: APGA thanks voters

    Governor Obiano won in all the 21 local government areas of the state with a total of 234,071 votes. The All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA (APGA) has expressed gratitude to the electorate in Anambra for voting massively for the party and its candidate, Chief Willie Obiano, on Saturday.Obiano emerged victorious in the Nov. 18 governorship election, which will see him being in office as governor for a second term.Addressing newsmen at Amawbia, near Awka, the National Chairman of the party, Chief Victor Oye, said the victory recorded by Obiano was overwhelming and unprecedented in the history of the state.Obiano won in all the 21 local government areas of the state with a total of 234,071 votes.His closest rival,  Mr Tony Nwoye of the All Progressives Congress, polled 98,752 votes.
