PDP Lawmaker Defects To APC

A member representing Suleja, Gurara, and Tafa Federal Constituency, Adamu Lokoja, in Niger State, has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

State Chairman Aminu Bobi formally welcomed Lokoja into the APC at the party’s state office in Minna.

Speaking during the official ceremony, the Niger East zonal chairman of the APC in Niger State,  Danladi Ahijoh, said that joining the party is an investment for politicians who want to partake in the future of tomorrow.

According to him, transformational changes witnessed under the APC-led government are the reasons behind his defection.

Recent defectors from the PDP to the APC have cited internal party crises and a lack of cohesiveness as their motivations.
