The Nigerian Police have declared Ihuoma Nneji, daughter of ABC Transport CEO Frank Nneji, wanted for offences related to alleged cybercrime.
In an e-banner shared on the Force’s official Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) pages on Tuesday, April 15, authorities listed “criminal defamation, injurious falsehood and cyberstalking” among the offences for which Ihuoma is being sought.
Although specific details remain limited, police sources allege that between August and September 2024, Ihuoma engaged in an online campaign to blackmail and harass a yet-to-be-identified businessman based in Abuja.
The case appears to have drawn widespread public attention, especially following a warning issued by controversial social media activist and influencer Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman.
In a post shared in September 2024, Otse accused Ihuoma of using her platform to spread defamatory content and demanded a public apology to the businessman involved.
“You have 24 hours to take down that post and apologise. “If you don’t, I’ll release evidence to show the truth,” Otse said in a widely circulated video.

It is unclear whether Ihuoma responded to the ultimatum. As of now, she remains at large, and the police are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward.
The Nneji family, including ABC Transport CEO Frank Nneji, has yet to publicly state the development.
This case adds to the growing list of cybercrime-related accusations involving high-profile individuals in Nigeria and highlights the increasing role social media plays in shaping and exposing such cases.
