Senator Oseni embarks on more rural projects, lights up Adavi cemetery, Kogi Central communities

Senator Yakubu Oseni representing Kogi Central Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committee on Information and Communication Technology/ Cyber Security has commenced the lighting up of Adavi cemetery and other communities/hamlets across his constituency.

Aside the cemetery in Adavi LGA which has sufficient solar light systems installed at both entry and exit points, the first phase of Senator Oseni’s Light Up Kogi Central exercise also covered communities like the Farm Centres, Osara, Osara Gada and Karaworo.

While assuring other remote communities of this similar gesture, the lawmaker said it is his intention to complement government’s efforts in making Kogi Central adequately illuminated.

He said, “It is in order to complement government’s efforts with this solar street light since we are blessed with sunlight in this part of the world. This exercise will be continuous until we touch all remote settlements in Kogi Central”

The excited community leaders expressed profound gratitude for being beneficiaries of Senator Oseni’s benevolence, noting that the solar street light would in no small measure improve the security condition of the area.

While asking for more government interventions in critical areas of their lives, the community leaders on behalf of the residents prayed God to give divine elevation to the lawmaker who has remembered them at this critical time.
