Microsoft releases ChatGPT in Binge, Edge browser

Microsoft has released a higher version of the popular AI chatbot, ChatGPT, to its Binge search engine and Edge browser.

The American multinational technology disclosed this following the incorporation of the AI tool, the search engine as the browser aims to allow a new experience for browsing the web and finding information online.

This is coming a day after Google announced the launch of its AI chatbot, Bard.

The PUNCH reports Bard is now available to trusted testers ahead of making it more generally available to the public.

The company released a search trends report last week, which showed that more people across the globe have an interest in AI.

Microsoft’s Chairman, Satya Nadella disclosed the AI-powered Bing search and Edge browser is now available in preview on the Bing website.

He said, “Today, we’re launching an all-new, AI-powered Bing search engine and Edge browser, available in preview now at, to deliver better search, more complete answers, a new chat experience, and the ability to generate content. We think of these tools as an AI copilots for the web.

“AI will fundamentally change every software category, starting with the largest category of all – search. There are 10 billion search queries a day, but we estimate half of them go unanswered. That’s because people are using search to do things it wasn’t originally designed to do. It’s great for finding a website, but for more complex questions or tasks too often it falls short.”
